You do not have to be in crisis to call Care Lodge. Many people call to learn about their options for increasing personal safety or to help someone they care about who is dealing with an abusive relationship. Some may even call about volunteer opportunities or request a presentation to educate others about domestic violence. Whether you call the office number or the 24-hour line, a member of our caring team will get you in touch with the right person to help you meet your need.

Trauma Has No Timeline

Experiencing a traumatic event impacts the way we see the world around us and interact with others. Trauma has no timeline in the way that impacts our life. Whether abuse happened yesterday, or 20 years ago, unpredictable reminders can knock the wind out of us when we least expect it.  With the help of caring staff at Care Lodge, we can learn how to identify what triggers those old raw emotions, we can smooth the path ahead!
