  • What types of services and programs do you provide?

At Care Lodge, we provide a wide range of services and programs to support victims of domestic violence, rehabilitate abusers, and promote community awareness. Our 24/7 Help Line offers confidential crisis intervention, safety planning, and community support referrals. We provide emergency shelter for victims fleeing domestic violence, which includes meals, clothing and personal hygiene items, case management, childcare, transportation, and life skills classes. Our non-residential services include crisis intervention, case management, provision of essential items, employment skills, court advocacy, and safety planning.

  • Who is eligible for your services?

Our services are available to anyone directly affected by domestic violence. We welcome people of all genders, ages, and backgrounds to access our confidential and supportive programs designed to provide comprehensive assistance and resources.

  • Are your services confidential?

Our organization takes its privacy policy seriously and takes steps to protect and ensure the safety of our supporters. We do not sell or otherwise disclose information about our volunteers or supporters outside of our immediate organization. This policy has no exceptions. We do not sell or exchange your information with any other organizations, public, private or nonprofit.

  • Do I have to be live in the shelter to receive services?

No! All services are available to victims of domestic violence in shelter as well as in the community.

  • What should I bring if I need to stay at the shelter?

Often, victims fleeing domestic violence don’t have time to pack bags and that's okay. However, if you do have time to gather some essentials, we recommend bringing clothing for 3-5 days, any necessary medications, and important documents such as birth certificates, social security cards, divorce papers or protection orders, and health records. These documents are not required to enter the shelter but may be beneficial for your next steps after leaving the shelter.

Our program aims to end the cycle of violence, promote self-esteem, and foster a non-violent, peaceful atmosphere. We offer activities for pre-school children, after-school tutoring for school-aged children, and a full-time summer program.
