Shelter Qualifications

	Be a victim of domestic violence at least 18 years of age unless legally married or emancipated by law.
	Clients do not have to be physically abused to be eligible for entry; emotional, verbal, sexual, and neglect victims are also eligible.
	Homeless victims may be eligible for entry if they are homeless due to domestic violence.
	Clients that present other needs, such as drug, alcohol, or mental issues may be eligible after professional assessment and appropriate referrals are made.
	Upon completion of any recommended treatment the client may be eligible to enter shelter.
