Annual Conference

In recognition of Domestic Violence Awareness Month, Care Lodge hosts a state-wide conference on domestic violence in October of each year.  The conference attracts social workers, law enforcement professionals, counselors, teachers and other individuals from across the state who receive valuable information on assisting victims of domestic abuse.

The 2011 conference, "Surviving the Violence: Technology in Today's Relationships," was held on Tuesday, October 18th, 2011.

Plans are currently underway for the 2012 conference.  Check back regularly for more information.

Intervention Programs

FVIP: Family Violence Intervention Program

Care Lodge offers a comprehensive, educational Family Violence Intervention Program (FVIP) to provide an opportunity for change for men and women who batter. Although there is a small fee for the program, victim prevention is most effective by stopping the cycle of abuser violence.

AIM: Anger Intervention Management

Care Lodge offers a short-term educational program designed to address the personal and interpersonal effects of anger. The Anger Intervention Management Program (AIM) is designed to teach participants the importance of managing their own feelings through awareness and practicing anger management productively.
